AI driven healthcare assistant mobile app
- Healthcare
The use case
AITROS, a healthcare startup wanted a mobile app, which uses AI to help elderly people and their relatives to log, monitor, and explain their health status. It is also aimed for healthcare professionals to monitor the health status of their patients.
The mobile app’s goal to enable users to log relevant data easily in a structured format, while the app provides them help in the analysis of the data.
One of the most important aspect is to monitor and analyze how the data (test results, markers) change in time, and what it might reveal.
The solution
We developed the mobile app, which collects the data, and relies on external LLMs for a series of functions.
- Patients can register themselves and their family members. Doctors also can register their patients in the app.
- Patients can log their lifestyle and personal health data (sporting, sleeping, eating, mood, weight changes, blood pressure etc.).
- Patients can take a picture of their blood test results, which runs through an OCR process, the app creates structured data from the test, unifies the measurements (which might differ amongst blood analysis machines), and explains what the values mean. This analysis goes beyond the actual test result of the patient, it also compares it to previous results of the same patient.
- Patients can log the medications taken, which can be compared to the doctors order. The system can also notify the patient when it's time to take a medicine.
- Patients can ask questions regarding the prescribed medications, and an LLM answers using prepared documents in a RAG environment.
The result
The solution is still under development.
